About the Author

My Work

Jeff was raised by his grandparents, who taught him that kindness is the most important virtue and that small acts of love can make the world a better place. He has worked in many faraway places and believes that children everywhere hold the key to a brighter future.

Jeff is continually inspired by his daughter, an imaginative storyteller, wonderful artist, and fearless explorer. Together with her mom, she helps create wondrous tales of kindness, forgiveness, and friendship—often with a touch of fairy magic.

Jeff is the author of the Maisha and Friends series, including Maisha and the Rainbow Tree and Jessica and the River Fairies. His stories celebrate resilience, love, and hope, reminding readers that even through loss, light and connection can always be found. All proceeds from his children's books are donated to charitable causes supporting children, families, and environmental restoration efforts around the world.

Our Community

Inspired by actual events, Maisha’s story is one of love, hope, and activism. It is introduced at a time when the world is faced with a terrible global pandemic. However, like Maisha, Jeff truly believes that the most challenging and difficult times can bring out the best in all of us—that caring and courage creates extraordinary magic to transform the world.

As an indie author, feedback and reviews are so important. Would love to hear from you and feedback on our story. We are so very grateful for your support.

Join Our Journey

The journey to complete this book has been magical. Personally, it has provided closure and is a full circle moment with my mom, who went to heaven when I was a young boy. She had started, but never finished a beloved children's book project for me. Completing a similar project many years later with my daughter is truly extraordinary and a healing experience.

“What you do matters.” Like a stone tossed into a lake, our actions have ripples that carry far and wide. Please join us to make some ripples together.
